Self-hypnosis is very powerful and a great way of focusing on the outcome that you want to happen and creating new neurological pathways in the mind.

Below is my personal 7-step self-hypnosis practice.
The Seven Step Process
1. Identify the problem or concern you want to address.
2. Induce trance, first find a quiet place to relax and lie down, somewhere where you will not be disturbed. You can use some relaxing music if it helps you to relax more easily.
Stare at a spot on the ceiling until your eyes begin to feel strained and tired, then relax them down, close them and take 3 deep breaths in. Then focus on your breathing and bring to mind the last time that you felt deeply relaxed, and comfortable, and imagine going right back there now, allowing those feelings of relaxation to flow through every part of you. If you can’t remember a time when you felt relaxed then imagine how it would feel in your ideal situation to be completely relaxed and at ease, and allow those feelings to get stronger.
3. Now focus on what you will do as your solution-imagine how you will think, feel, and act.
4. Visualize yourself in carrying out the new behavior. This is your mental rehearsal.
5. State Positive affirmations that you can easily repeat to yourself to remind yourself of the changes that you are creating.
6. Now make your own posthypnotic suggestion with this easy formula: “From now on whenever I encounter (the problem), I am now doing (the new behavior)
7. Reorient yourself: open your eyes, stretch and take a deep breath. Done!
